Maki Yoshida 吉田真希
Master Esthetic/Facial Educator
apan-based facial instructor with many years of hands-on experience in the esthetic industry, possessing deep knowledge of both skin theory and practical techniques.
Her extensive experience in the field, combined with a clear and approachable teaching style, has earned her strong support from a wide range of students, from beginners to practicing estheticians.
She emphasizes the ability to analyze skin conditions, techniques that deliver tangible results, and individualized support for each student, providing a curriculum that ensures mastery from fundamentals to advanced applications.
Additionally, Maki is involved in teaching the HEFA Method (Headspa × Facial integration technique), guiding students on treatments that integrate scalp, fascia, lymphatic flow, and facial muscles. By combining Headspa and Facial techniques, students learn how to achieve maximum synergistic effects in salon work.
She also focuses on techniques that can be immediately applied in the salon and counseling methods that earn client trust. With a mission to train professionals who guide clients toward healthy, beautiful skin, she conducts facial courses, workshops, and technical supervision throughout Japan.
Akemi Yamashita 山下明美
Master Headspa Educator
Hairstylist and Headspa instructor based in Toronto.
Building on her foundation in Japanese professional beauty education and extensive salon experience, she teaches Japanese Headspa and Facial techniques that integrate scalp science, fascia theory, and meridian techniques.
Combining the “precise and meticulous skills” developed through many years as a hairstylist with “client-focused care” gained from working in overseas salons, she has created an educational method that is easy for beginners to understand. Her original HEFA Method views the scalp, skin, and fascia as a unified system and is highly regarded as a technique that can be applied immediately in salon work.
Currently, while performing salon work in Toronto, she is also focused on educating and spreading Headspa techniques, providing instruction to a wide range of students including hairstylists, estheticians, and salon owners.
